transfering to tiles

I have been trying to transfere pictures to tiles and have not had luck. The paper just comes off and nothing is left on the tile. What kind of tile works and should I be using a ink jet printer with regular t- shirt transferes? I would like to make some for gifts. Can someone help?

l have been a bit slack with this group lately, but busy with grandkids and family and just catching up again, l am very happy to help with any of you questions on the transfer onto tile as l have done a quite a few using t-shirt transfers. If you want any help please let me know
