Guessing a blue goat's head possibly the aliens inhabiting your part of the world???, wolf, canine companion with footballing tendencies, arachnid, and a wise owl! Did you carve and create? Impressed!

A friend invited me round to see his collection of corn snakes, and a Royal Python, enjoying a summery day exploring the little apple tree in his back garden.

A snake in the grass!!

Hey! You cheated! We are supposed to identify the photos - snakes! See, I knew, I knew!

I am loving this month's project... wicked colour on the orange cornsnake!

By the way - the purple goat was supposed to be a dragon. (I am in Wales, you could have guessed that possibly?)

The carved animals were on a bridge over a canal in a park in Watford. This is a town in Southern England that is not noting for its rural beauty! The paddling dog was at the same location.

Now enough reptiles for the minute... here's Roxy my children's rabbit

I decided to take liberty with the May challenge albeit quite late that I am. My animals are quite steamed with fabulous cajun spices of New Orleans, Louisiana, a state in southeastern US. I had fun extracting the background and then adding my own.

oh no! heh :)
did you cook them? looks like a lot of work to get to the meat...
a beautiful red though.

They were steamed at home by our friends who hosted us. It is indeed a lot of work but well worth the effort. It also gives the diner a whopping good chance to work out hostilities or other worries as s/he digs through the bones to pull out the meat. That and a good beer or glass of tea to go with it, whatever your preference.
The colors pleased me. Thanks for noticing.

heh! yes, that and a beer sound like a good recipe for ending a frustrating day.
