Today I trudged to the mailbox in bitter wind and blowing snow (after doing my daily barn chores...the hens and the goats were glad for their daily ration of hot water and mash) and discovered a crumpled Call for Entries brochure for a regional art show.

A one day juried show scheduled on the Sunday of Labor Day Weekend, the application process sounds relatively easy (digital or slides) and an inexpensive ($50 refundable) booth rate. The Park where its held boasts a (working) carousel

I've been in a creative stall since last May...the usual reasons. Part of my issue is that my studio is a horrendous mess. And I've yet to face the task of getting it back to rights. I joined this group to (hopefully) get a creative kick start.

Today is a US holiday (Martin Luther King Day) so I've been puttering while it steadily snows outside. I'm cleaning a bedroom closet instead of starting on the studio....
