So tired of being "dissed"

So today I went to a Wichita Garden Show meeting. The detail committee was talking about color, placement, plantings, creative plant tags etc and I cannot remember why I chose to be on this committee or why I even come to these meetings any longer.
One of the members looks right at the woman next to me and asks her what she thinks about all of the above because she is such a good artist. Hey, what am I chopped liver? This woman didn't even have a concept about a color scheme and asked why did it… Continue

Gosh, I forgot about all of you. Where have you been? Is it me? Do I need a breath mint?
I have been working hard on my next little gallery show coming up the last Friday of November and am doing new things. Of course I'm still melting fiber and I still love the use of the leaf theme which never seems to die for me but I'm still at it. I've been sick with the crud for weeks now and this is my first day of feeling much better. Still hacking and coughing but feel more human than foreign object lying in bed thinking about how I just had another wasted day. I guess this is getting too long so I will stop.

These are so pretty and remind me of lillies with the colour variation on the back of the petals. M xx
