I'm a huge tea drinker, mostly because I'm a Newfie and it is impossible to go two hours in my parent's house without someone putting the kettle on. More the black and green types than the herbals, although I have some nice rooibos (I think that's how it's spelled) ones, including a Candied Ginger-Peach variety that tastes like liquid candy.
I write every day, but I still often feel like it's not quite right. Sometimes, though, I get those moments where everything seems to fall into place, little shiny blocks of words, and those moments make up for all the hours spent staring blankly at a blinking cursor. I'm hoping that with more practice I'll get more of those moments. ^_^ I'm attempting to make a living at the writing, whereas the visual art is more of a hobby for me. The fibre art is just a way to keep warm.
Blogging can be great for getting yourself into the mental habit of putting your thoughts into words. A great way to bitch about random stuff, too. I've had a livejournal for about the last eight years, and it does help with the writing.

Thanks for your comments about EPIC. I've just been fortunate enough to be able to pursue something that feels instinctive. However, the writing and graphics that make EPIC look so appealing are Nancy's magic.

Glad you enjoyed my profile rant. Apparently, all the creativity I was unable to summon for my novel writing yesterday got dumped into it.
To be fair, my boyfriend does wear most of what I make him, even the bunny slippers.
I love Chai tea, although I've never had chocolate chai. I make my own from a tea masala I bought from an elderly lady from Mumbai who lived in Kitchener, ON. And I've gotten some good ones from a tea store in St. John's called Britannia Teas. Great variety and lots of organics.
My parents and my brother live in Halifax, too, so we're all transplanted Newfies.
I enjoyed your photos, by the way. I am a terrible photographer, so I appreciate the skill in others.

Hi Debbie. A recumbent bike is one on which you recline...they are much easier on your back and knees. I have a Burley, but I'd like to trade it in for a Rans. My husband has a Rans V-Rex and it is even more comfortable than mine...they pedal very easily and are a blast to ride. The steering takes a little getting used to but once you get it, you're hooked! They are expensive, but if you ride a lot it's worth it. My husband found his used on ebay. Here's a link: http://www.ransbikes.com/VREX07.htm

Wow, your page looks great! Thanks for visiting mine. I didn't know if to reply to your comment here or on my page. My bike is a recumbent...it's so fun to ride and it doesn't hurt may back, which was a problem with my old bike.
