well, the reason they only show up on your page is that you posted them as comments on your own page. If you want them to show up in your photo slideshow (see just above) you have to go to the Photos tab at the top of any page and upload them there. They'll also show up in the photo slideshow of the whole site on the main page and people will see on the sidebar column that you've uploaded photos. Then you can also post them in the photography club discussion if you like and can do that either from the uploaded version or from your computer which is like uploading them twice but is, I find, easier. Up to you. I'm toadally sure that clears things up!

Lisa, I only just saw your bluebonnet photos. I guess it's a little hard to keep up! Since they're just on your page, they don't show up in the slideshow. ANYWAY, I did see them and they are wonderful. Some people might think you really upped the saturation on those, but I know that's what they really look like. And yes, they do remind me of several happy periods in my life. Thanks!

Auer, another good site to visit is www.photoanswers.co.uk, good advice from the makers of a leading digital mag here in U.K plus video on how to take better pictures.

auer most of these photos are taken in Ireland counties Sligo and Donegal. Loch Doon is in Ayrshire Scotland were my wife originally comes from.I live in the old medievil town of Carrickfergus 10 miles north of Belfast, Northern Ireland so I dont have to travel to far to get good scenery shots,I have only taken up photography as a hobby since I suffered health problems so only learning, if you have any tips will be eternally grateful.I use a Fuji 6500fd digital just getting used to it also trying to come to terms with photoshop cs3 I go on to youtube and get videos of how to do certain things its really helpful.Love the flowers very attractive.

April in Texas translates to Indian Paintbrush and Bluebonnets growing wildly along Texas highways and park spaces. Nancy, this is for you to remember the days when you took your boys for a day trip to enjoy the splendor of these annuals.

Hi Auer,
To do the transfer onto tile, buy some BLACK t-shirt transfer paper(l use a product from inspired products but there are quite a few brands that sell the transfer paper)Have a look at the www.inspiredproducts.com.au site. The packet has 5 sheets and some wax paper. Print out the picture selected and peel off backing. Place right side up on white plain tile(from tile outlet) and place wax paper over. Iron over sheet,( turn off the steam setting first).Let cool and then embellish with clay , paint or whatever. l usually put the print on a size that allows for a bit of decoration around the edges. Hope you can follow this, l am only self taught so not good at giving instructions.

Profile Information

About Me:
I am a beginning photographer who loves to take classes in anything photoshop or photography. As such, I enjoy when people who post their photos include helpful information about the photograph including: aperture/shutter speed; type lens;white balance. All of these things help me when I want to take a similar shot.
Creative Interests
I used to think that a photo without a face needed to be trashed. Then I bought a good camera, and now my interests have broadened. I love to travel and photograph where I've toured. I am a teacher who considers retiring each year but then gets caught up in the excitement of her students and postpones retirement for just one more year.
Every year I try to learn one new thing so I can remember what it is like to be a student who might need more time to understand a concept.
