I don't think that's accurate anyway. they do sometimes ask permission to use work that you put there because of *outside applications* but that's more of a technicality, you do have an opt-on choice and it's not taking away your copyright.....unless there's fine print I don't know about! anyway, what you put here is shown here only and you retain all rights.

I was just wondering about the facebook thing because there was a recent thread on a list I belong to that any photo you post onto facebook is copyrighted to them. I'm not sure if I have this all correct or not, as I never signed up for a facebook account, I was just told that it was in the fine print.

At 5:42pm on March 5, 2008, nuanc said…: no. we do have a facebook application that allows us to put this site's photo, music and video widget onto our facebook page, but that's the only connection other than some members having facebook accounts. oh, and the facebook application isn't working quite right at the moment. if you wanted to put any of these things on your facebook site right now, you'd need to make me a facebook friend and click on the Practically Creative icon on my facebook profile. send me a pm (upper left corner of this page) and I'll give you instructions. I'm still trying to figure out why it's not working the way it should.
