On a bright and sunny February day...

Yesterday was my birthday... I was woken early with a text message from a beloved friend so I couldn't moan... she loves me too! I am not sure that I really woke up the rest of the day though.

I had a morning appointment assessment for my university artwork with a complete stranger. She shocked me. Instead of the expected 'broken record' criticism of my efforts she expressed her delight at some parts of my work and suggested playing to my strong points. I nearly fell off my chair! What's more, this enlightened person told me to completely ignore any negative feedback from the tutors that is not useful to me and just go for it.

Now... I know what you are probably thinking... why is this so special and stunning because it's not like I haven't heard similar from friends and those who watch out for me. Yep, you are soooo right.

NOW I HAVE TO ACT ON ALL OF YOUR GOOD ADVICE AND GET MY ACT TOGETHER BEFORE THE COURSE ENDS!!!
