I've neglected my webpage and noone reminded me to log in.
My news is that I passed my Fine Art Degree in the end!
The Certificate arrived to confirm the good news and that's brilliant!
In September I surprised myself and began a one day a week course in horticulture. It is held at a huge botanical gardens and I am really enjoying it. (Apart from trying to learn scientific names for the plants.) My creative skills may be useful in designing my garden - the situation desperately needs accessing!
As far as artwork is concerned the news is less promising. I am still taking photographs regularly but my studio remains a storeroom for now and the dust is gathering on my art materials.
I hope you find time to log onto our group and add a blog, photos or just a message to say hi!
Hi Mandi! You're burst of energy is appreciated! I'm busy with other things but always enjoy it when we have activity here. CONGRATULATIONS! Wonderful news. Boy they ran you through the ringer before they "awarded" you're degree, didn't they. Awarded is in quotes because I have no doubt you worked your bottom off for it! Cheers! Nancy
Hi Mandi, by coincidence I've just checked in with my ning pages too, after about a year of neglecting them! congratulations on your degree, that must have been a very satisfying moment for you....and the horticulture course will be great too, I love getting into the garden, it's a very hot spring here at the moment, and my frog pond is very active.
cheers
Erica
Congratulations on the fine art degree! Horticultural stuf sounds fascinating. I have a very small garden, but we grow a few things and have a pond with frogs!
They've taken away a hundred or so of the goats in the valley and say they've taken them to Surrey, but I can find no mention of them on the Surrey Wildlife website, and they are the people who have supposedly adopted them. Hopefully it's just a case of not being updated.
