Creative Interests: Dabble with painting of various kinds. Enjoy working with rope (knots etc) creative writing

Didn't we do well, Heather and Mandi. At least we weren't last, which is where Col and I used to come in Llanllwni with the Lloyds! Not sure what this section of my page is really for. And just what is a widget? And has anyone read my poems on the Inspiration sight?? And just who are all these clever people who know what they are doing on these computers?

home again

Hi everyone. Back again from my travels. Budapest as usual was fabulous, took oodles of photos again. Will try and get some uploaded soon. The name plates I painted for the clinic staff were received very well and I have been asked to do two more. So I must settle back down to my painting again soon. The weather here in UK has been pretty horrible, with more bad weather to come. Budapest was up in the high 90s! Hard to re-adjust. Hello again

Have had a bit more time this morning, to browse the site. I guess it's been a busy time for a lot of people, site feels quiet. I know I have been busy but do hope things will settle down next month. I have managed to dabble a little with my glass painting, but feel that everything I do is very amateurish. It doesn't help having all my 'stuff' spread between two locations. Just a flying visit again. Need to move everything to new premises then I could get on site every day. Only 'arty' thing this week is more glass painting. I will photograph and add to page. Will play catch up in a day or two.

Back again.

Hello everyone. Just a brief visit. Wont really settle down till my next trip is out of the way. The last couple of months have been very busy. Had a fabulous time on the coach trip to Italy. Didn't want to come home! Have done nothing really arty again for a while, apart from taking hundreds of photos. Did do a couple of pictures when I got back from Scotland, but nothing since. I used to live in Sligo, and don't get to visit as often as I would like. I was there last June visiting lots of familiar places. Nice to have the connection. The only arty thing I am doing this week is painting walls in our new shop. But I did take some 'before' photos and with a fair wind, by the end of the week I may have some 'after' photos, so I still hope that is enough to keep me as a member of 'Being Practically Creative'!
